Nancy Walpole

Nancy is the newest addition to the John Cox Family Law team. She joined the firm after being called to the bar in June 2020. Nancy articled at a boutique family law firm in downtown Toronto before making Oakville her home.

Nancy’s interest in family law was piqued during her time as a law student at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. Nancy worked at the law school’s legal aid clinic, the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP), where she helped some of Toronto’s most marginalized communities with their family law matters. In her final year of law school, Nancy's team won the Walsh Family Law Moot litigation competition, designed to provide student advocates across Canada with valuable courtroom experience.

During articling, Nancy helped prepare for and attended many court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations dealing with a wide variety of complex financial and parenting issues. When she is not at the office, Nancy enjoys country music, experimenting with new recipes, and running after her two energetic dogs.
